Energizer (XPAL) XP2000 Portable Charger Review

There is an inverse relationship between battery life and the more features packed into the latest Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, MP3 player, and other smart devices. High definition displays, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, “4G, push notifications, email, “live” wallpaper, 3D, and the always on smart devices simply overwhelm the batteries that come with the latest smart-phones. Turning off these features simply deprives the user of the functionality and experience that was part of the justification for purchasing them in the first place.

The quest for battery life is not just for the business traveler and includes everyone who can’t get enough of or can’t put down their Facebook, Angry Birds, or email for more than a moment. The optimistic start of the day with a full charge quickly leads to a low battery warning later in the afternoon for anyone with an active lifestyle and on the move. This insatiable need for power leads people to sit on the floor in awkward positions at the airport, crowd charging stations, and continually be on the lookout for a place to grab an extra charge.
