Having spent many years in the wireless industry I've cycled through multiple devices - T9 phones, smart phones, data cards, USB modems - and at one time or another they all served a purpose. Whether I was testing the device for work, using out of a lack of choice when in a foreign country, or genuinely found it to add value and efficiency to my day, they all deserve a fair shake. On this page I give credit to my devices - the active, the retired, the sold in disgrace, the returned within 30 days. If you have an opinion on any of the below I'd love to hear it. Just contact me with your thoughts. Guest reviews are welcome!

iPhone 4 S from Apple on AT&T

The iPhone 4S is the latest innovation from Apple. As of the fall of 2011 it is the premier device on the market. Cynics claimed it was not different enough from the original iPhone 4 but as someone who got up at 2 a.m. to preorder I was not fussed by the media hype. The introduction of Siri alone makes the upgrade worth it. On the first day I had the phone I asked it to send my wife a message. Siri simply responded "I do not know who your wife is.". My wife took personal offense and Siri is no longer allowed in bed. Just for that I'll buy it.
